| Through the application of mathematical techniques
to the study of the physical, biological and social world, we can provide valuable
insight into theories, processes and outcomes which may not have been otherwise evident.
Particularly in areas where policy-makers must base important decisions on limited information,
the value of applied mathematics and modeling in elucidating patterns and guiding policy
can strengthen theories and observations -- and even provide a window into potential
future outcomes. |

| Within MathEcology, our main focus is on biological
problems, including (but not limited to) gene expression,
the environment,
ecology, and epidemiology.
We work with our clients to develop systems of mathematical equations appropriate to their
applications. We then offer a variety of services, based on individual needs: |
| |
|
|
|
Solve the resulting mathematical equations
analytically, identify local and global equilibria, and perform stability analysis. |
|
Fit linear and nonlinear equations or systems
to client-gathered field data. |
|
Perform a wide variety of analyses on your data
and their fitted equations. |
|
Translate these systems into custom software
applications in a variety of programming languages and operating systems. |
