One of our main focus areas at MathEcology is epidemiological modeling and research. Through extensive
medical and epidemiological research and the development of
mathematical epidemiological models, we are able to elucidate
patterns, causes and control strategies for diseases in groups of organisms. We have performed
epidemiological modeling and research services in collaboration with academic institutions,
international and private organizations, and government agencies, and our work in this area continues
to grow. Some of the epidemiological services we offer include:
| Disease Systems |
Human populations, structured and unstructured. |
Vector-borne, foodborne, and waterborne diseases. |
Respiratory, gastro-intestinal, and sexually-transmitted diseases. |
Animal populations, including livestock and wildlife. |
Plant populations, including agricultural and natural systems. |
| |
| Epidemiological Research |
Epidemiological and medical literature review and summary. |
Model review and research, including parameter value range summaries. |
Population studies and historical data search. |
